”La-Guta” is a kosher french restaurant, located in the beautiful Nahalat-Sheev’a neighborhood of Jerusalem – one of the early settlements outside the walls of the old city. The place is characterized by the unique design – inside and outside – due to the various architecture styles combined in the structure. For many years, ”La-Guta” is a well known restaurant, and it rightfully earned a great reputation for its high standard gourmet kitchen and the kind hospitality.
The head chef of ”La-Guta” (and the inspiration for the place’s name), is Guta Ben-Simchon. Her outstanding cooking style includes various origins and influences, among them some dominant elements taken from the rich traditional Moroccan kitchen she grew upon as a child.
Chef Guy Ben-Simchon, Guta’s son, cooks side by side to his mother, and plays a major part of his own in the kitchen. Guy had learned a lot from Guta, and took advanced studies under well known chefs around the world. The two of then, Guta and Guy, have a lot of experience in managing and cooking for grand gastronomical events in Israel.
The magical homely atmosphere, professional service and impressive design combine together to create a wonderful meal and an unforgettable experience.
*In ”La-Guta” you can have business meals at the middle of the day, and enjoy a rich evening menu.
